Paul Andrew

Paul Andrew’s journey through the fashion world reads like a master class in modern luxury. He launched his own line of women’s shoes in 2012, and by 2014, Andrew had already made history as the first shoe designer to win the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund, cementing his place as one of the industry’s rising talents.
His time at Salvatore Ferragamo—starting in 2016 as design director of women’s footwear and becoming creative director in 2019—redefined the Italian house for a new era. Andrew infused Ferragamo with a sleek, forward-looking elegance while staying rooted in the brand’s craftsmanship traditions. Now, as creative director of Sergio Rossi since 2024, Andrew continues to balance classic sophistication with an unexpected edge.
Andrew’s creations are made for today’s woman—luxurious yet wearable. “It has to be something you can put on your foot, wear, and feel confident, sexy, and comfortable,” he once said, summing up his ethos. This commitment to combining daring style with practicality has made his work both critically acclaimed and beloved by shoppers.
Born and raised in rural England, Andrew spent his early years saving up for copies of Vogue, getting lost in the fashion pages. He studied fashion in London, showed his first collection at Graduate Fashion Week in 1999, and caught the eye of Yasmin Sewell, who helped him land an apprenticeship at Alexander McQueen. Today, as he leads Sergio Rossi, Paul Andrew continues to be a designer who knows how to surprise, without losing sight of what makes fashion exciting: luxury, comfort, and the thrill of something new.
