Mugler is expanding its “Alien” universe with a new release that veers into dessert-like territory. Dubbed “Alien Extraintense,” the fragrance weaves the original’s signature essence with a lavish swirl of vanilla and jasmine. This heightened composition takes a classic scent one step further for those who crave a bolder impression.

Supermodel Anok Yai fronts the campaign, appearing in a short film that transports viewers into a surreal dimension the moment she sprays on this latest creation. “Growing up people used to always say I looked like an alien,” Yai said in a press statement, embracing her role as the brand’s cosmic muse.
“‘Alien Extraintense’ explores the mesmerizing and voluptuous aspects of femininity with a carnal, bold signature,” says Dominique Ropion, master perfumer at International Flavors & Fragrances, in a press statement. Ropion, a leading figure in perfumery, introduced the first “Alien” fragrance in 2005, earning instant cult status. For this new edition, he’s amplified those familiar notes, delivering a concentrated spin on what devoted fans already adore.
Beyond fragrance, Mugler has recently been in the news for its H&M collaboration, bringing the house’s futuristic design approach to a wider audience. Now, with “Alien Extraintense,” Mugler reaffirms its forward-looking sensibility—offering a scent that feels both current and intriguing for anyone looking to elevate their fragrance wardrobe.
