A New York fashion label and an Italian espresso icon collaborate on a limited-edition machine and apparel capsule, merging design and ritual in a single pour.

In a move that bridges fashion and coffee culture, Aimé Leon Dore has partnered with La Marzocco to release a limited-edition Linea Micra espresso machine. This collaboration brings together the aesthetic sensibilities of the New York-based brand and the engineering prowess of the Italian espresso machine manufacturer.

The Linea Micra, tailored for home use, features a deep green hue complemented by polished brass accents and walnut wood detailing. Subtle branding elements, including the Café Leon Dore logo and Aimé Leon Dore’s crest, are integrated into the design. Despite its compact size, the machine boasts features found in La Marzocco’s commercial models, such as dual boilers for simultaneous brewing and steaming, PID temperature control, and app connectivity for scheduling and maintenance.

Handcrafted at La Marzocco’s Officine Fratelli Bambi workshop in Florence, the machine was priced at $11,660 and produced in limited quantities. It sold out shortly after its release, underscoring the demand for design-driven coffee equipment.
Complementing the espresso machine, the collaboration includes a capsule collection of apparel and accessories. The lineup features a café-ready apron, a cotton t-shirt, and a baseball cap, all bearing co-branded monikers and minimalist design. These items are available exclusively through Aimé Leon Dore’s stores and online platform.
