Marshall’s smallest speaker keeps its vintage silhouette but gets a fresh stamp of identity from Awake NY: a tonal checkerboard shell punctuated by bright blue accents at the control panel. The mashup of the Marshall logo and Awake NY’s trademark on the front grid stakes its claim as a vibrant collector’s piece.
Behind this release is a collective focus on community and cultural exchange. Earlier in 2024, the two brands kicked off a long-running event series titled “Live From Awake NY,” spotlighting local and international talent through intimate performances. Proceeds from those happenings have bolstered programs at the Queens Teens Institute for Art and Social Justice—a testament to Awake NY’s ongoing passion for social impact.
This reimagined Acton III is Bluetooth 5.2 equipped and includes a 3.5 mm input for those who prefer going wired. Built-In Dynamic Loudness automatically adjusts audio levels to suit any space, making it just as at home at a gallery opening as it is in a busy living room.
