Floral embroidery, velvet pile, raffia weave and a printed animal motif define the Vain line in images that recall voyeuristic cinema.

Sharna Osborne’s lens casts a grain-soft glow over Valentino‘s latest campaign, developed with Alessandro Michele and centred on what he calls “emotional intimacy and femininity.” Borrowing from voyeuristic cinema, the visuals rely on projected frames, muted tones and a fine film grain that freezes time long enough to spotlight a new family of bags: Vain.

The lead style is a supple calf-leather shoulder bag with an elongated handle, offered in embroidered florals, plush velvet, raffia and a printed animal motif that nods to the season’s ready-to-wear. Two more silhouettes complete the trio: an oval vanity bag with a hinged top flap and the Soft Vain Clutch.

Landing only a month after the Nellcôte campaign, the release shows Valentino’s accessories story gathering momentum without sacrificing tactility or quiet focus.
