Sunlight pours through an open window, casting a glow on Miu Miu’s Spring/Summer 2025 campaign, Duets. Photographed by Lengua and styled by Lotta Volkova, the images capture a cast that includes Liu Haocun, Kayije Kagame, Sunday Rose Kidman Urban, Joey King, Lena Mantler, and Eliot Sumner—each bringing their own take to the season’s vision.
The collection looks to childhood wardrobes as a point of departure, stripping back the excess and returning to a place of simplicity. White cotton dresses, reimagined in multiple iterations, nod to a time before self-consciousness. Shirts are twisted into unexpected shapes, chemisette dresses slip off the shoulders, and sweaters find new form as bustier tops. A collaboration with Petit Bateau extends the theme, infusing fine cotton essentials with a sense of nostalgia.
Miu Miu’s contrasts are as deliberate as they are effortless. Soft florals and pastel pinks sit next to boxy blouson jackets and sharp tailored trousers in uniform greys and blacks. There’s an interplay between materials, too—technical silk mimics nylon, revealing a tension between illusion and reality. Accessories follow suit: the refined Aventure and Arcadie bags find balance alongside studded clogs, block-heeled Mary Janes, and bold new sneakers.
Miuccia Prada’s world is never static. It shifts, reinvents, and reshapes itself with every collection, playing with codes of femininity, utility, and ease. Duets isn’t just about dressing—it’s about movement, interaction, and the ever-evolving relationship between fashion and the self.
