Skims teams up with Roberto Cavalli for a swim collection that’s all body.

Leave it to Kim Kardashian to revive a pair of vintage Cavalli pants and turn them into a full-fledged swimwear collection. The latest Skims collaboration, a limited-edition line with Roberto Cavalli, finds Kardashian pulling directly from the archives, bringing back jungle prints, bold stripes, and signature Italian flamboyance. But it’s the campaign imagery, shot by Nadia Lee Cohen, that cements the collaboration as a true fashion moment.

Known for her saturated palette and retro-futurist aesthetic, Cohen turns the Roberto Cavalli x Skims visuals into something between a fever dream and a vacation postcard. Kardashian fronts the campaign alongside her mother Kris Jenner, who reportedly spotted the samples and asked to be part of the shoot. The result is a stylized, cinematic fantasy where both women pose in turquoise jungle prints and tiger stripes, set against mid-century interiors and surreal flourishes. Think: a zebra caftan on a velvet couch, or a bustier dress reflected through Cohen’s trademark mirror play.
This is where Skims steps out of its neutral-toned comfort zone and into something unapologetically loud. Cavalli’s prints, including photorealistic tigers and saturated bird florals, aren’t exactly subtle, but that’s the point. The collection, which includes swimsuits, capri pants, cover-ups, and caftans, embraces body-conscious glamour and doesn’t apologize for wanting to be seen.
The Roberto Cavalli x Skims swimwear collection launches Friday, June 27 at 9AM ET on SKIMS.com, in Skims retail stores, and in select Roberto Cavalli boutiques. Like most Skims drops, expect it to move fast, especially with these prints.
