Pharrell Williams’ Pre-Fall 2025 menswear campaign for Louis Vuitton opens on deck. Rosie Marks’ photographs and Grégoire Dyer’s films follow a modern traveller who swaps yacht for sports car, steps from pool to beach, and keeps trim tailoring even in transit. The line answers every stage—cast-off, crossing, arrival, and stay—with clothes that drift between ceremony and leisure.

The itinerary runs from Paris to Miami, nodding to grand ocean liners and early-era Miami Beach glamour. Dandy codes—already central to Louis Vuitton men’s—pass through Williams’ LVERS filter, linking the house’s community along the route.

That passage shapes a single wardrobe in sunset shades. A tiny-boat Monogram Regatta print leads on a nylon windbreaker and chambray shorts; collar-less sailing jackets, striped knits and shirts complete the seagoing cue. Jazz-age three-piece suits swell in volume, while shawl-collared dinner jackets and peignoir coats move into daylight. Moiré weaves appear as jacquard outerwear, denim or cotton-linen; Alcantara softens technical macs. Monogram switches texture—embossed leather, flocked denim, full-crystal knit—while art-nouveau graphics punctuate the mix.

Once ashore, Miami’s pastel hotels tint lounge pieces that slip into daywear. A sage terry coat cut like a robe carries a jacquard hotel emblem; strawberry-pink track sets, aqua silk bowling shirts and pyjama suits in magenta or khaki pick up Monogram Glow contrasts. Oversized striped shirts skim matching trousers, shorts and swim shorts; raffia threads through a collar-less jacket, washed-black chambray and even a sheer Damier-embroidered tee.

Travel icons shift into luggage. Off-white or light-blue Monogram Heritage canvas, trimmed with aged-tan VVT sfumato, forms ruched Marina Totes, metal-edged Bobo Trunks and Coffee Trunks. Damier Denim 3D appears on Montsouris Cargo backpacks and Nevereverfulls, while vivid Monogram Glow combinations—light grey and yellow, cement and pink, azure and red—update messengers and slings. Miami Jacquard tapestry sketches coastal scenes; woven-leather Monogram Cruising adds Squeeze and Steamer trunks; raffia Beach Shoppers sit beside special pieces, from a crystal-set suede Speedy to a wicker Keepall 25 and a dolphin-shaped mini bag.

Accessories echo the deck. Rope-trim sailor berets, pearl-button denim caps, terry socks and heat-moulded bucket hats share space with paisley or Monogram silk squares. Silver-plated chains mimic ship ropes, and coffee-bean necklaces in aged silver or brass swell into inflated LV logos. Eyewear follows suit: rimless LV Super Vision frames, oval or square LV Pure Low styles, striped-temple LV Slide Square options and larger acetate shapes handle sun and sea glare. Footwear spans black glazed-leather LV Scala loafers—some with raffia vamps—Runaway Maxi trainers, raffia LV Easy mules and LV Major loafers, faded-suede LV Footprint football boots, shiny LV Venice sandals and hotel-inspired LV Traveller slippers.
