LVMH has just spotlighted eight designers poised to compete for its 2025 Prize. They emerged from a lineup of 20 semifinalists who presented to an expert panel in Paris last month. Now, these names will head to the Fondation Louis Vuitton on September 3, where the coveted Grand Prize, Karl Lagerfeld Prize, and Savoir-Faire Prize will be awarded by a jury that knows how to turn a spotlight on fresh talent.

The selected labels cover a breadth of global perspectives. Alainpaul by Alain Paul (France) stands alongside All-In by Benjamin Barron and Bror August Vestbø (United States/Norway). Italy’s Francesco Murano, Japan’s Soshiotsuki, and the UK’s Steve O Smith, Tolu Coker, and Torishéju by Torishéju Dumi join the mix, with Zomer by Danial Aitouganov (Netherlands) completing the eight.

“On the occasion of the 12th edition of the LVMH Prize, the collections of the semi-finalists highlighted a rich diversity of backgrounds and creative visions,” said Delphine Arnault, CEO of Christian Dior, in a statement. “They each displayed an inspiring level of expertise in tailoring and craftsmanship, as well as great refinement, and I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate them all.”

Come September, the final round in Paris will decide who takes home the honors—and, if past editions are any indication, it’s likely to signal a bold step forward for the new guard of fashion.
