Walmart’s online aisles just got a serious boost, thanks to a new collaboration with Rebag. The resale platform, known for its roster of top-tier names like Louis Vuitton, Hermès, Prada or Chanel, is bringing its entire 27,000-piece inventory of bags, jewelry, and watches to Walmart.com. This move broadens Walmart’s selection of pre-owned designer finds in a big way and introduces a curated set of 100 additional pieces handpicked for Walmart shoppers.
Starting January 16, shoppers can explore everything from mini accessories to coveted Birkin bags with sky-high price tags. Rebag’s push into Walmart underscores the retailer’s plan to tap into an audience that hunts for items they never expected to see in the same cart as groceries or housewares. It also aligns with Walmart’s ongoing sustainability commitments and answers the demand for in-demand designers that might otherwise feel out of reach.
This new resale shop builds on Walmart’s recent expansions, including a tie-in with StockX for limited-edition sneakers. The company says these efforts are already fueling growth, with third-party marketplace sales climbing by more than 30% for five consecutive quarters. Meanwhile, Rebag has been ramping up its own programs, including its expanded Rebag Rewards, aiming to keep buyers and sellers returning for more.
“Resold at Walmart” has been part of the brand’s push to reimagine what it can offer online. Now, with Rebag in the mix, that lineup of secondhand items is stronger than ever. For style lovers, it’s a chance to nab luxury staples on a site that’s synonymous with everyday essentials. For Walmart, it’s an invitation for a wider crowd to stop by—and maybe pick up a vintage Chanel bag along with their paper towels.
