Brain Dead marks a decade in the game by reuniting with A.P.C. for a project that showcases the French label’s raw denim heritage. The duo has shaped a concise lineup inspired by industrial Americana, headlined by a trucker jacket with mixed-metal rivets and roomy jeans stamped with collaborative leather patches. Complementary accessories—a bucket hat and tote—carry a fresh mashup of Brain Dead’s icon and A.P.C.’s recognizable lettering. A straightforward tee and relaxed-fit hoodie complete the range, all anchored by that joint logo in varied sizes.

The partnership between these two has been building since 2019, when Brain Dead took to A.P.C.’s runway with a forward-looking set of outerwear and graphics. In 2021, they released a “Unity” tote bag that supported the Luminous Sound Fund, advancing equal access to music programs. They teamed up again in 2022 to toast A.P.C.’s own milestone of 35 years in business. Now, they’re turning the spotlight on Brain Dead’s tenth anniversary with another collaborative drop.
Founded by Jean Touitou in 1987, A.P.C. has carved out a niche for well-crafted wardrobe essentials with understated flair, while Brain Dead, based in Los Angeles, has garnered a cult following through a mix of streetwear, art, and cultural ventures. Their new capsule debuts on February 25 at 10 a.m. PT in Brain Dead’s stores and online, as well as A.P.C.’s website and select boutiques.
