Bell & Ross Launches New Orbit: Inside the BR-03 Astro

Bell & Ross, founded in 1992 by Bruno Belamich and Carlos Rosillo, continues its fascination with cosmic themes through its newly introduced BR-03 Astro. This piece interprets space travel on your wrist, with Earth, the Moon, and Mars in continuous motion around the dial. A tiny satellite circles our planet once a minute, marking seconds. The Moon stands in for minutes, and Mars sweeps by to track the hours.

Housed in a 41mm case of matte black ceramic, the watch nods to the Cupola module on the International Space Station, channeling the feeling of peering through a portal into orbit. The domed crystal serves as the canvas for Earth, rendered in three-dimensional form beneath the glass. Bell & Ross balanced each component to accommodate the Moon’s engraved detail, ensuring the mechanics function seamlessly.

Powered by the BR-CAL.327 automatic movement, it carries around 54 hours of reserve, matching the demands of everyday wear. Limited to 999 pieces, the BR-03 Astro is currently available for $4,800 on the brand’s official website. It’s a natural extension of Bell & Ross’s ongoing commitment to bridging flight instruments and watchmaking, with a dash of outer-space intrigue.
