The night before the 75th Berlin International Film Festival officially began, CHANEL gathered a mix of actors, filmmakers, and creatives for an intimate dinner at the Berlin Bunker penthouse. The venue—home to Christian Boros’ contemporary art collection for over 15 years—set the stage for an evening that blended film, fashion, and culture in the way only CHANEL can.

Christopher Kujanski, chef at POTS in The Ritz-Carlton Berlin, curated the night’s menu, while actor and musician Christian Friedel (of Woods of Birnam) provided the evening’s soundtrack with a live performance. The festival itself, running from February 13 to 23, will be presided over by director Todd Haynes, with one of its biggest moments arriving early: Tilda Swinton, a longtime CHANEL ambassador, is set to receive the Honorary Golden Bear for her lifetime achievement.

Swinton was among the night’s guests, joined by a lineup of familiar faces from European and international cinema: Vicky Krieps, Emma Mackey, Hannah Herzsprung, Valerie Pachner, Lisa Vicari, and Mala Emde, alongside actors Albrecht Schuch, Langston Uibel, and Felix Kramer. Directors like Nele Müller-Stöfen, Malgosia Szumowska, and Lena Stahl were also in attendance, adding to the creative mix.

CHANEL has long been a presence in film—on-screen, behind the scenes, and at moments like this, where the industry gathers to mark another year of storytelling.
