Bella Hadid Adds a Summer Duo to Orebella With the Solars Mists

Bella Hadid, founder of the fragrance brand Orebella, is expanding her Body and Hair Perfume Mists with SOLARS, a two-scent summer set she's holding to a limited run.

Orebella's mists run on a bi-phase build, a water base under a top layer of essential oils and fine fragrance, botanical and alcohol-free. No alcohol is what lets the line work in hair as well as on skin, and SOLARS keeps the same two-layer formula.

Hadid framed the duo around heat and late light. "With 'SOLARS,' I wanted to bottle that feeling of golden-hour light on the skin, the warmth that lingers long after the sun goes down," she says. "These scents are my love letter to summer: to slowness, to softness and to the quiet glow you carry with you wherever you go."

CANDIED SAND is the sugary of the two, a musky one. Coconut milk and vanilla bean do the sweetness, sandalwood butter and cedarwood the warmth, with jasmine in the mix and aloe water worked in for the hydration the brand points to. The name says candy; the musk keeps it from going fully dessert.

NEROLI'S HALO goes the other way, a floral citrus of bergamot and lemon, orange blossom and sea salt, closing on soft musks and blonde woods. Neroli water anchors it, which is where the name comes from. The citrus and the salt keep it bright and a little briny, less sweet than its partner.

The pair is limited edition, $39 each, live on Orebella's site June 23.
