The collection itself plays with tension—soft pastels are cut with sharp tailoring, while oversized bows and sculptural draping subvert traditional silhouettes. There’s an ease to the clothes, but also a precision, a sense that every slouch and every undone detail is intentional.
Set against a backdrop of surrealist props—hand-painted sculptures that look like remnants of a dream—the campaign leans into an artistic, slightly undone mood. Phrases like “You are my light” and “Slow Med Fast” are scrawled across the imagery, reinforcing the collection’s offbeat approach to beauty. It’s a world where fashion doesn’t just exist; it interacts, disrupts, and redefines itself in real time.
Accessories continue the narrative, playing with proportions and texture. Bags take on exaggerated, curved forms, reminiscent of something both futuristic and nostalgic. Footwear feels lived-in—crocheted, worn, or sculpted in ways that suggest they’ve already had a history before even stepping onto the runway.
Hair and makeup follow suit, with wet-look strands, sculptural waves, and an undone sensibility that makes the whole vision feel effortless. In true Acne Studios form, SS25 isn’t about a single statement but rather a collection of contradictions—hard and soft, structured and fluid, polished and raw—brought together under a single, slightly surreal lens.
