Fendi Opens Renovated Miami Design District Boutique

Fendi has opens its newly revamped boutique in Miami’s Design District, and it’s all about creating an interplay between the brand’s Roman heritage and the sun-soaked energy of Miami. Expanded to a spacious 6,700 square feet, this new two-story location showcases Fendi’s Women’s and Men’s collections, from leather goods to ready-to-wear, all wrapped in Miami’s signature pastel vibes.

The boutique’s facade is a nod to Fendi’s Roman roots—think four grand arches inspired by ancient Roman architecture. The standout element here is the three-dimensional glass brickwork, arranged to evoke ocean waves, that glows with Miami’s nightlife after sunset. Wrapped around the exterior, an open-air gallery coated in blush tiles—each stamped with the iconic FF logo—is surrounded by tropical greenery and intimate lounge nooks, the kind of place that invites you to sit and soak it all in.

Step inside, and the ground floor gives you an introduction to Fendi’s Women’s leather goods and accessories—all set against a marble floor inspired by the Temple of Venus in Rome, a site of historical relevance where Fendi hosted its Couture Fall/Winter 2019-2020 show. The flooring mixes Patagonia and Travertine marbles in geometric patterns, while hand-tufted carpets bring in Miami’s greens and pinks, echoing the curves of the Tiber River.

The first floor keeps things luxe but inviting. You’ll find custom-designed pieces like the Jia Chairs by Atelier de Troupe and Studio Twentyseven’s Marula Chair—all nestled among ribbed travertine walls and champagne metal accents, balanced with touches of walnut wood for warmth. Roberto Sironi’s custom-designed table, with its inverted arches and Rima marble, also stands out, echoing Fendi’s Selleria stitching, an iconic part of the brand’s identity since 1925.

Take the walnut staircase to the second level, and the space opens up into a laid-back zone for Menswear, with the same marble flooring contrasted by plush rugs inspired by the Miami skyline. The vibe is chill but sophisticated, with champagne-toned displays and travertine elements defining the look. Studio Twentyseven Gallery pieces, including an Emmanuelle Simon seating area and Arda Yenijay’s Universe Round table, complete the scene.

The Women’s section upstairs doesn’t shy away from a bit of drama, anchored by a handmade vetrofusion glass wall that continues the arch motif from the exterior. The space balances Fendi Casa display tables with seating areas by Alter Ego and Charlotte Biltgen—all designed to create an intimate shopping experience that mixes Italian finesse with Miami cool.

And then there’s the VIC area—a private space with gradient fringe curtains that melt from pink to ivory, set against a stainless steel backdrop. It’s complete with Fendi Casa furnishings and a custom-colored concrete art piece by Edoardo Piermattei, adding that final touch of Roman luxury transported into the Miami heat.
