Louis Vuitton Taps LISA

LISA steps into a new realm of style, fronting Louis Vuitton’s latest campaign shot by Steven Meisel against the cinematic works of French artist Laurent Grasso. These images—fresh, direct, and evocative—capture a moment where pop culture and art collide on a grand stage.

Grasso’s “Studies Into the Past” pieces were originally placed on the runway at the Cour Carrée last October. Now, those same sweeping vistas frame the Spring 2025 collection. “I was really struck by the way he chooses special and highly significant locations to stage his runway shows. That’s something I’ve focused on a lot with my work, because I believe that places have a power and a vibration, which I’ve tried to capture, as I’ve made about 20 films, each one focusing on very specific locations and situations,” Grasso told WWD, referencing Louis Vuitton’s womenswear artistic director Nicolas Ghesquière.

“I find the mix of the brand, their work and my paintings — in the background, obviously — an absolutely incredible cocktail,” Grasso added, nodding to co-campaign star Saoirse Ronan and LISA, whose K-pop status finds an easy alliance with Louis Vuitton’s global aura.

LISA joined the house as an ambassador last summer, standing alongside J-Hope, Sophie Turner, and Zendaya. Her presence in this campaign cements her place in the brand’s ever-evolving story. Louis Vuitton, known for high-voltage collaborations with contemporary names like Yayoi Kusama, seems intent on keeping that synergy flowing. With Ghesquière shaping the next wave of Vuitton’s vision, LISA’s role as a cultural catalyst feels perfectly timed.
