sacai‘s collaboration with SPIEWAK launches on October 11. The Tokyo-based label teams up with SPIEWAK, a brand whose heritage in military outerwear stretches back over a century. Together, they reimagine the concept of the uniform, distilling elements from both brands into utilitarian silhouettes that feel distinctly of the moment.
This joint collection dives into SPIEWAK’s rich archive of military and workwear staples, blending sacai’s signature hybrid aesthetic with the durability and function that SPIEWAK’s pieces are known for. The result is a cohesive range, from reworked G8 jackets to unexpected yet functional takes on women’s skirts—each piece nodding to the past while pushing the conversation forward.
In keeping with sacai’s ethos of collaboration, the collection also features the playful touch of artist and skateboarding legend Mark Gonzales, whose illustrated patches add an idiosyncratic flair. The campaign, lensed by Joshua Woods, features Gonzales alongside creative voices Curtis Kulig and Chiara Clemente, reflecting sacai’s ongoing dialogue with culture and community. It is now available at sacai’s retail stores globally, and on sacai.jp.
