Leave it to COMME des GARÇONS Parfums to mark 30 years with a scent that defies convention. Introducing Odeur 10, the newest chapter in their Odeur series that’s always been more about art than olfactory norms.
Inspired by “Eau Oxygénée”—the French for hydrogen peroxide—Odeur 10 opens with a crisp hint of mint. This freshness gives way to ethereal aldehydes at its heart, settling into subtle base notes of musk and ambrette. It’s a fragrance that feels both familiar and entirely new, much like the brand itself.
The scent premiered at the Aoyama flagship in Japan, set against an installation by artist Yuichi Higashionna. Known for his luminous explorations of space and form, Higashionna’s work perfectly echoed the fragrance’s play on perception.
In true COMME des GARÇONS style, the celebration doesn’t stop at scent. Two T-shirts dropped alongside Odeur 10, each nodding to the Odeur lineage. One sports a tri-color Odeur 10 graphic front and center, with homages to Odeur 71 and Odeur 53 on the back. The other merges stylized prints of all three fragrances, finished with the iconic wordmark.
Odeur 10 and the tees are now available at COMME des GARÇONS and Dover Street Market locations worldwide. The fragrance is priced at ¥30,800 JPY (around $199 USD), and the shirts retail for ¥13,750 JPY (about $89 USD), taxes included.
As COMME des GARÇONS Parfums turns the big 3-0, it reminds us that breaking the mold isn’t just an aesthetic—it’s a tradition.
