Valentino Beauty has signed Dakota Johnson and Alexander Skarsgård as the faces of its next fragrance, one the brand has yet to reveal.
Johnson already has Valentino history, a fashion ambassador for Maison Valentino now crossing into its beauty arm. Skarsgård is the newcomer, a Golden Globe winner the brand pairs with her as its "partners in crime." The coming fragrance is built around intimacy and connection.
On intimacy, Johnson frames it as "honesty and connection," and says she's "drawn to Valentino Beauty's ability to celebrate individuality while creating something that feels both sensual and deeply human." Skarsgård, joining for what he calls a "new chapter," finds "something so compelling about the way the brand celebrates individuality, emotion, and connection."
Valentino Beauty's Global President, Claudia Marcocci, tied the signing to the brand's direction. "We are pleased to welcome Dakota Johnson and Alexander Skarsgård to the Valentino Beauty family," she says. "Their unique personalities and magnetic presence perfectly embody the emotional intensity at the heart of this new era."
