A 38 percent search surge tied to Jonathan Anderson’s exit has returned Loewe to the number-one slot on the Lyst Index.
Loewe reclaimed the Lyst Index crown for Q1 2025 after searches rose 38 percent, a lift tied to widespread chatter about Jonathan Anderson’s June debut at Dior Men. The sudden surge pushed long-time leader Miu Miu into second place and underlined how creative-director news can shift shopper attention almost overnight.
Not every label in transition enjoyed the same benefit. Versace, Balenciaga, Bottega Veneta, Gucci, and Valentino all slid down the chart, while COS delivered the surprise of the quarter—jumping 11 spots to sixth as demand climbed 44 percent. The move makes Cos the first mass-fashion name ever to break into Lyst’s top ten.
Fresh creative energy also lifted Chloé into the top tier for the first time since the Index began, thanks to Chemena Kamali’s early impact. Ralph Lauren rose six places to 12th by courting customers across price points, and performance brand On entered at 18th after a 50 percent search jump, propelled in part by Zendaya’s recent endorsement.
